WebCultured ("we", "us") respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal information we collect through webfoundry.ca, why, and what we do with it. We follow Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA).
What we collect
- Information you give us. When you use our contact form, email or call us, we collect what you provide: typically your name, email address, phone number, website address and a description of your request.
- Technical information. Like most websites, our servers record basic technical data such as IP address, browser type and pages visited. We use it to keep the site secure and working.
How we use it
- To reply to your enquiry and provide the services you ask for.
- To protect the site against spam and abuse.
- To meet legal and accounting obligations if you become a client.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for unrelated marketing without your consent.
Who we share it with
We use a small number of trusted service providers to run this site and deliver email (for example our hosting provider and an email delivery service). They process information only on our behalf. Some providers may store data outside Canada, in which case it may be subject to the laws of that country.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiries only as long as needed to respond and to maintain a record of our communications, and client records as long as required for legal and accounting purposes.
Cookies
This site uses the cookies it needs to function, plus Google Analytics, which sets cookies to count visits and show which pages are useful (for example, how many people read an audit page or send the contact form). Analytics data is aggregated, we do not use it for advertising, and Google's advertising features are turned off. You can block these cookies in your browser, or with Google's opt-out add-on, without affecting how the site works.
Your choices
You can ask to see, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you, or withdraw your consent, by emailing [email protected]. If you have a concern we can't resolve, you can contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.
